Was Larry Fowler (Dresden Files talkshow host) named after the fictional character Larry Fowler in Greg Bear's novel "Psychlone"?

I'm guessing it's a coincidence. There's only a hint of overlap between the two characters (a talkshow host who milks the paranormal for ratings, vs. an engineer and skeptic of the paranormal). The names aren't that uncommon. And "Psychlone" isn't one of Bear's bestsellers.

But I was re-reading Psychlone after recently finishing Death Masks and noticed the names. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
