DFRPG / Re: Playing "Free Will-less" Characters
« on: April 28, 2013, 01:46:36 PM »
I don't think it's a good idea as long as the other PC's are Mortals with their free will intact. It's just that Mortals are treated too much as food/prey for most monsters to have a true partnership/ working relationship. Your going to try and kill each other the first chance you get if your role playing it right. However if it was a game where all PC's where non-freewill monsters I could see it working, for the simple reasons most monsters won't just outright attack each other thanks to the relations between the different species.

Well if you look at it there is a clear line with the rules. The first four are meant as guidelines on the rights of victims. Don't kill, transform, mind magic, or enthrall anybody. The last three belong in the it's just wrong category. Maybe there's something there.

I like to write in third personally, but sometimes I fall into first if the people also playing do so.

terre haute, indiana. NOT indianapolis... its way easier for city folk to travel here then us 'country' folk to go there.

I would love to do medieval setting too. Between the witch hunts and old legends there's a lot to play with there as well.

Author Craft / Re: Writing vs. Typing

I like to hand write things first just to get a sense of the tone and basics of the story then I add in the things I feel I missed the first time while typing it up.

DFRPG / Re: Necromancy Ideas
« on: February 14, 2013, 03:55:30 PM »
Could it be possible to use necromancy to modify your own body with the dead? Kinda like how a True Necromancer in D&D 3.5 would graft dead body parts onto them to make themselves stronger and harder to hurt.

There is what is considered to be a feminine way of writing and a masculine way of writing even outside of even word choice. There's grammar and sentence structure too. But some men do write what might be considered femininely and some females do write what may be considered in a masculine fashion.

It was either yesterday or the day before yesterday. 1,100 some words. Around that range.
