wait what? As in the Goddess Athena? Where did this idea come from??I don't know, it's come up here and there. Nothing official, just speculation. Might have been a non-Dresden idea thread floating around here somewhere.
Lizard for easy spying, they can crawl under anything.I'd imagine they'd have to be animals he has a connection to, psychologically. I can see a wolf, based on his associations. Or a hound dog, because of his profession and mindset.
Horse to give Jim a chance to melt Harry's lungs.
Definitely could work and would probably appeal more to the current anime market. Would have to be updated I think a little, but it's got a good tone.Yeah, it premiered 13+ years ago, so I'm sure they could update some things for the better but keep the dark tone. I just don't know that something 3d would be necessary for Dresden, like Clone Wars or Rebels, and I don't like the cartoon animation of other shows like Resistance. (I'm not that familiar with modern anime, so my cartoon exposure is pretty limited to star wars these days)
I do feel it would be more thematic if Behind was related most to Love, as he is the greatest of the Walkers (if memory serves) and Love is the greatest of the Virtues (at least in some interpretations but more importantly in Jim's novels).Behind is the most *potent*, not necessarily the greatest/strongest. Beside seems to be the brains, possibly the longest lasting, and potentially the greatest/strongest in terms of impact. Behind is just potent in that he can act directly against humans without a host.
I am trying to think in a good Grey. He needs to be a bland looking person but a good actor that can convey intensity when needed. I did not find it yet.Luke Hemsworth?
It's possible real Nemesis was also tainted by Adversary once upon a time.I like this, mostly because the usage of the word Nemesis changed at some point from 'harbinger of just retribution' to 'implacable enemy'. I can't find anything on the timing of the usage change, but it'd be interesting if it coincided with Nemesis the goddess being infected and changing her nature.
Yeah, I don't see how he would have to arrest her as an FBI agent. Maybe a minor federal offense? But that goes to my point that we don't know his work history because the information we have is muddled. We know he worked in law enforcement when he was married to Murphy, so almost certainly in Chicago. Then he worked in New Orleans, then Chicago as an FBI agent.I'm willing to accept that he was a cop in Chicago and then New Orleans, and came back as a cop and applied to join the FBI and got accepted. The big question is just how much he might know about the supernatural world. If some, then the Feebs might put him on a secret group like SI. If none, then he's probably just a regular special agent.
This may be tangentially related to the FBI agents but there is a WoJ that says Marcone and Hendricks were both Marines. The FBI trains Agents at Quantico and frequently have prior service in the forces before becoming Agents. The potential for people who knew Marcone pre-baron days serving in the FBI is totally there.I had started writing a fanfic ages ago about Marcone being exposed to the supernatural during his time in the military, but stopped when Butcher said he was going to be doing short stories from his perspective. (I prefer to write peripheral stories that won't be contradictory to canon)
He put in for a transfer. You don't transfer from a local agency to a federal agency. Transfers are from one FBI office to another. https://www.fbijobs.gov/sites/default/files/transfer-process.pdfI don't know. It says in Blood Rights that "he was working in New Orleans.” and “He is. Lisa went down for Mardi Gras. Apparently he had to arrest her.”
