The fomor was apparently supplying weapons and other material to the rcv for their war effort so they likely had great influence for their strategies.

It might be possible that all the upcoming magical combat and deaths, could release a lot of magic into the world, filling the ley lines with energy.

I think the stone table can help kill immortals, but in a way allow them to be reborn.

The management and possibly securit would definitly have been Demi rcv. So it is possible for a time the low levels managed it, but any magics or protections that required the rcv would have failed. So any tone would have gone after these outposts.

The ritual was aimed at killing him, all he just did was redirect it at his enemy. Destroying their power of his inhuman enemy. Classic white council doctrine. The thing is those rcv were sustaining mortals, so when removed, they aged die.

There is a tv show and comic about wynnonna Earp, descendant of Wyatt Earp. It would be cool if we saw a cross over at some point.

Say someone succeeds in some kind of dark Ascension ritual, what would happen if the staff then consumed the corruption? Would it restore their mortality or something.

DF Spoilers / Re: A warden's sword for Harry...

I have to wonder if there is a sword hidden away for the warden of the well. The position might predate the swords, but it would be a powerful artifact to supplement him.
Just like how Harry can use McCoy staff, a warden could use warden tools. Also, he could borrow Mccoys warden sword, it is sure to be better than those off the shelf sword most warden have.

It is theorized black magic corruption is some how linked to the outside, and the winter court mans the outer gates. It is believed the black staff is mother winter walking stick so that might not be coincidence.
So I am wondering if winter knight has some protection from the corruption of black magic. The walking stick would a physical relic of mother winter power, while the knight mantle is a portion of her power.
But the staff and mantle would have their costs and concequences for any protection they provide.

It is believed the gift to the dragon was tainted, similar to the athame. If added to the treasure hoard, could it alter the curse on it?

The thing I wonder is that can the staff be used in rituals, or in magic where more than one magic user is involved? I am talking one of those large scale magic acts. Something akin to the ritual the rcv attempted.

It is said immortals feed upon each other it think, so they would count as living weapons.

Technically the curse did not kill the Demi rcv, it restored their humanity. It is not his fault their natural mortality turned them to dust.

Harry Id and the mantle is all about survival, while black magic useful, he knows it leads to insanity, which is not great for continual survival. If he can focus enough on this, he can hold the temptation to use it at bay.

A dragon hoard is cursed, but what if the treasure is taken after it has passed through multiple hands. The treasure is set to go after thieves, but after a couple dozen transactions, are they still thieves.
I totally see someone using cursed treasure to eliminate others, then reclaim it safely.

There is a common theme of you can't protect yourself from your own energy. I wonder if the curse is best suited to mess with dragons, they would see each other as the greatest competition.

While the curse is sure to be awesome, I still think there would be ways to by pass it. Dresden is always learning secrets that would get him killed so why not one more. We know there are very few true dragons left, 2 I think, so there treasure would be very useful. Not for the wealth, but the artifacts, knowledge and magic they would contain. They might be a treasure hoard, but you can bet, there is enough to make it an armory in the right conditions.

I wonder if McCoy went after lord Raith using the Blackstaff. It is believed that relic is an epic one, yet the protections that Wcv stood against it. A staff that allows the seven laws being broken, yet it was held back. The thing is that it is believed the protections are outsiders based, so a staff that could freely break the seventh law, should be able to counter it.

The lands of faerie are the closest region of the never never, closest to the material world. Many of the most known, used or safest ways are through the lands of faerie. I am betting that due to Maggie knowledge of the never never, and contacts amongst, she knew every way in the lands of faerie. That Alone would be valuable.
