DF Spoilers / Re: A warden's sword for Harry...

While Harry will never full become a warden, the sword is a powerful and capable foci, with its ability to attack magic. With the inevitable large scale combat approaching, such a force multiplier would be invaluable.

The fomor are the remains of defeated dark pantheons. So they would have few mantles and immortals available, otherwise they would not have banded together. If those few beings of power were stolen away and slain on the stone table, that permantly rob the fomor of that power.

The stone table likely Unites the different courts and factions of the lands of faerie. Part of me wonders if since the fomor are the result of so many different groups, they have something akin to the stone table for themselves. To bind themselves together and pool their powers and energies.
Since it was said the fomor were part faerie, I kinda expected them to end up being sacrificed on the stone table. So if the fomor did hove something uniting their power, could tHat be used to steal it for the stone table?

If the brut squad was an official part of the wardens, the lore they used in the combat magics would most likely be preserved. Depending on how desperate the council becomes, they might share it more widely.

When Harry gets his sword, I see tons of highlander quotes and references.

The fomor were made into outcasts when their original homes were torn down, so it makes sense if they searched for a new patron, someone to back their play.

The description of the fomor sound similar to the well inmates. So I wonder how many of those defeated and destroyed dark pantheons have members trapped under the island. I bet if the court lost their true immortals end beings of power, the court would be effectively neutralized.

The descriptions of the well, make it sound like it is capable of containing the goin collection. Especially with a warden with soul hire, and a pseudo nephlim spirit of intellect daughter.

DF Spoilers / Re: Standard Warden Equipment?

Wardens are known for 2 things, their cloaks and the swords. Most of the attention goes straight to the sword, so the cloak is likely for the more subtle magics, those not that readily apparent.

It is said Maggie was an expert of grey magics, so I wonder if she learned it from her dad. With the Blackstaff, it would be easier to experiment with safely.

DF Spoilers / Re: Weapons that can kill Immortals?

I always wondered if demon reach can be used against those linked to the inmates. So using the skinwalkers as an example, it would allow their scions, apprentices and those linked to their power to be messed with. They could be pecieved as echoes or shadows of true skinwalkers. Possibly not killed outright but definitly weakened in some form.

In the arryns stories, there were three weapons. A sword, dagger and spear. If the sword of the cross is Excalibur, I wonder if the athame is the dagger.

With the theme of being vulnerable to your own energy, could goodman grey be a threat to a skinwalker?

McCoy might not be an active warden any more, but I could see him ensuring all his magical weapons and tools are well maintained. He would have the resources and talent to ensure his objects, are more long termed than what Harry has to depend on.
