I have to ask - did Dresden have anything to do with the Cubs winning the World Series? Did that have any kind of effect on the supernatural world?

Eldest Gruff called in a favor to the Billy Goat and got the curse removed when he found out that Harry died. It was his way of honoring a favorite frenemy.
