Title: Supernatural Interests in Murphy
Post by: raidem on October 21, 2017, 07:09:27 PM
What supernatural entities, temporary or not, do you expect have Murphy on their Radar.  These will/may include prominent and/or particular wizards, Knights of the Cross, Denarians, etc.  Which are the most important to the series? How will they shape Murphy going forward?

god level
Archangels (they spoke via her in Changes)
Vadderung/Kringle (Murphy trains with his Einherjar, she rides with him in Wild Hunt)
Mab (Murphy was at Arctis Tor in PG; Murphy killed Maeve in CD)
Hawaiian gods, per WOJ on upcoming Murphy short story
Erlking (trapped outside her home in DB, rides with her during WH in CD)
Hades (he was keeping tabs on Nic's group for days)
Red Court Vampires (all the Lords of the Outer Night, Red King, particularly at the moment she slashes at them with the SWORD) (they died)
He Who Walks Before (laid down a mind whammy on Harry and evidently the entire Wild Hunt in CD, Murphy played significant part in this battle partly exposed)
He Who Walks Behind (summoned in BR right next to Harry, Murphy, Thomas, Lord Raith)

Denarians most specifically Nicodemus (SG fight, some interaction earlier) (including Lasciel)
Fomor (killed one in Aftermath, ongoing battle during GS)
White Court (Thomas, Lara (owes favor to Murphy), Lord Raith) Madrigal Raith
Black Court Mavra (BR mission, Blackmail in DB)
Red Court Vampires (all the Lords of the Outer Night, Red King, particularly at the moment she slashes at them with the SWORD in Changes) (dead)
The Archive
Grey Council (they showed up at CI)
Knights of The Cross (Michael, Sanya, Butters)

Mac (Small Favor, other meetings like in Changes)
Lea, Lily, Fix, Tiny (second eldest gruff), other Fae
Cowl and Kumori (went to Murphy's house to get Bob)
Ebeneezer (went to take Harry to Murphy's Family Reunion, assisted in takedown of Mavra in BR)
Luccio (worked together in Small Favor, etc)
Paranet (Murphy leads it, particularly it in Chicago)
Bob (takes ownership of Bob and passes him to Butters in GS); Evil Bob
John Marcone
Tera from FM and the Alphas particular Billy, Georgia, Andi, Marci. (werewolves)
Kincaid
Most importantly...
Mouse, Mister (Murphy is very close to Mister)
Feds

Cowl and Kumori followed Harry to Murphy's house. And any of the Grey Council that were at Chicken Pizza.

The federal interests who disappeared the recording of her shooting Denton and Harry killing transformed MacFinn (so, presumably, the Librarians) aren't precisely supernatural powers, but they have a hand in the game for information-gathering purposes.

I recall someone asking in one of the older Q&A's if they might recruit Murphy and Jim basically saying hell no, they're actively suspicious of her as a known associate of the crazy wizard. They're plausible suspects for the car bombing in White Night - I don't think that was ever definitively tied to Madrigal (or Vitto or the Skavis).

I included it as Feds. I'd like to see the Librarians show up though. :)

Who was the little girl Wampire that Muphy took to the woodshed in GS?

Felicia Raith
I don't know why I got the impression Raith was her last name.  Maybe it came from somewhere other than GS.  She is a white court vampire though in GS and is sent by Lara.  I assumed it was Raith, maybe there is more source material.

Well she's a Sex Vampire from the White Court, so it's not much of an assumption.

I know it's easy to forget considering how rarely they show up but the Non-Raith Wamps have an alternative diet.

You already have Feds, but you could specifically add Tilly since I believe WoJ says he will play a role later in the series. I also believe that Gard offered her a job so you could lump her in with Odin.

Man, is there anybody that has made an appearance in the books that might not know about Murphy?

Well, I think we can safely say out of all the allies of Harry, Murphy probably has the greatest exposure and likelihood of being on the radar of numerous supernatural entities.
That said, post CD/SG Molly will or likely has overtaken her.  Still, Murphy is way up there on the visibility meter.

Agreed, that Fae Queen factor reaally gave her the recognition edge over Murphy.

Maybe some of the White Council.

I guess the two SC that would be least knowledgable about Murphy would be Ancient Mai and Cristos.

I know this is kind of vague, but how about all the various supernatural baddies that she, as leader of SI, had taken out, or dealt with?  Trolls, vampires, small time magical practitioners?

Well, there is a couple of years of activity that Harry didn't get to see what his Scooby gang was doing; but, I doubt any of it hit the big leagues.
