Everytime I try to get into the McAnally's forum -

Me, too.  I sent a PM to Mickey.  I don't know if he's the right one to notify, but I figured he'd know who to contact.

I've found that I can get into those topics that are blocked right now, if I've posted in them in the past.  Go into your Profile and click on "View Posts".  You can click on the topic link and get in there.  If you post, after you hit submit you'll get that annoying error message, but the post does go through.

I've just been sneaking around, if I can't get in one way I try a back door so to speak. The computers at work get one used to tryig less obviously orthodox ways of solving problems. ;D

*sighs* I want to read page three of "Help An Author Out" but I can't cause I'm getting that error message. This sucks. Someone tell Mac to repair his pub already!

Telling the software to "optimize the tables" seemed to have an effect.

I'm not sure why McAnallys is insisting on intermittently using an alternative "unread messages" icon, but it is, and I can't figure out how to change that.

At least that much is cosmetic.
