Title: Captcha and Security Question Using Phone
Post by: Theogony_IX on February 10, 2016, 06:10:00 PM
I'm trying to set up a game run over the forum with a friend of mine.  When using his phone, the forum seems to require a captcha and subsequent security question if he gets it wrong.  Does anyone else have this same issue, and is there a way around it?

I haven't had this problem..  I don't remember, but isn't that only required when making an account?

Could it be something in his account settings?  Does it happen if he logs in on another device (computer etc...)
What if he doesn't set a security question?  Is that mandatory?

Sorry I can't really help.

Just tried it on my phone and I could log in just fine, no captcha or anything. I can't remember ever seeing a captcha on this forum before, either. Weird.

I know nothing about this issue. But if there's anything I can do to fix it as a moderator, let me know.

Hmm, I can't remember having gone through that either.  He is thinking that the site just needs him to make a number of posts before realizing that he really is human and stops asking.

I'll let you know Sanctaphrax, thank you.

Testing to see if the captcha goes away after a post.  Here is a photo of what comes up when sending a message or making a post.

Update . . . captcha is gone after this last post.  Thank you.
