Title: Spells and more spells. Chain Challenge

I notice how some people limits their spells. Everyone knows you can shoot fireballs and Magic missle and force shields. But those are a little too boring if you ask me. So here is what I would call a chain challenge.
I'll write a spells, what it does mechanicly.

Spirit Attack Weapon X Physical stress.

Now someone else gets to explain what this spell is, is it a magic missle? A wave of force? Get as creative as you possible can. When you are done with that, you add your own "boring" mechanic for a spell for somone else. Or for those looking for a more diffcult challange, use elements that maybe dont make too much sense? Like a Fire Block for perception (Fire veil).

In short, go nuts with your spell ideas. And lets make all the wizards out there a little more flavorful.

My spell is: Water Block X for Mental attacks

A weak and temporary form of mental shapeshifting, turning the mind into a sort of chaotic-yet-still-functional soup which attacks disappear harmlessly into.

I would change that to "...debris whips around nearby in a squat tornado..." since it's a zone border not a personal block. Otherwise, cool.

Any evothaum? Hm...Superior Conjuring it is!

Conjures an octopus-monster with far too many tentacles beneath the target that envelops them, choking and squeezing for a few seconds before it dissolves into goo.

For the next trick: a Spirit Block against physical attacks that isn't a simple wall/bubble/etc of force.

Vat-grown flesh covers the whole area.  You must exit and enter by pushing through a thin but tough membrane.  Touching any part of the ward it causes the intruder to break out into sores that hemorrhage and bleed profusely.

Not to steal from D&D, but Barkskin. Alternately, quick growing vines that form a hedge or wall to absorb damage.

I never thought of social attacks before or alternate Paradigms. What about Metal social attack.

Metal Mental attack: Brittle Mind- Forces your opponent's thoughts to take on the rigidity of iron causing them to ramble off on a pointless tangent or completely shatters their ability to concentrate at all if taken out.

Yeah personally I'm not sure I like evocators being able to rip out a giant Weaponized Social attack. I'd probably limit it to maneuvers or consider allowing "attacks" at Weapon: 0.

That said: Make someone's fork flip out of their hand and spatter spaghetti all over them/their guest.

Causes a high pitched ringing in the ear of everyone trying to target the caster, upsetting their balance and causing vertigo.

Spell: Tactile Perceptomancy Ward.

It took a long while to work out a good way to word that. There isn't really a sense of touch based equivalent to photomancy or audiomancy.

That someone must be you.  I had no idea anything like this happened in Avatar.  In fact, I went over the James Cameron movie in my mind before I figured out you must be talking about the Airbender show.   I am a physics fan.

Nuclear Magic ward.

No casting necessary.  You just put up signs like this and people magically stay far far away. :)

Seelie Magic block, applicable to bullets cuz' "a block is a block"

Petal Shield: A radiant sunflower springs from the caster's hand orienting on attacks like a normal flower would orient on the Sun, continuously repairing any damage done to it until it is entirely destroyed (the block is overcome) or the caster ceases to power the effect and it withers away.

You pull a lot of magnets together from the surrounding area, ripping coils of electrified wire from the ground at the same time, to create a crude rail gun that can fire an iron pellet at high speed.

Probably should set up some aspects before hand for this one.

As for yours: you manipulate the magnetic field from the earth, amplifying it to several Tesla in strength in the span of a few seconds. This plays absolute merry hell with the currents in your opponent's neurons, causing nightmarish effects I'm not sure I can even cover, here.

Using the inherent animalistic fear of thunder and lightning to slowly torment someone with horrific half seen visions of a dark figure approaching between each blast of lightning.  I can definitely see the consequences being stuff like "afraid of the dark", and "He is Coming"...
