beyond that, the forums don't host avatar pictures from your computer, you will probably have to host such a picture at a free picture hosting sight like photobucket

Photobucket seems to be the most popular and the easiest to use
also the size of the picture needs to be 150x150 max... and photobucket is easy to use for resizing...
(is it me or does this topic come up a lot? )
