I mean, he's modified this one with so many custom skills and powers that all he really needs now are his own mechanical ruleset and a compelling setting.
Tedronai, Mr. Death, and/or SilverBlaze et al et al could collaborate.

Yeah, I know. I'd actually kind of like to write a Fantasy Heartbreaker for DFRPG. A second edition, if you will.
Silverblaze and I chatted about the possibility back in May.
Kinda stalled out when I asked Evil Hat about possible legal issues and got told that there'd probably be some.
Recently, though, I started GMing a new PbP. Explaining the houserules I was interested in using was a bit of a trial. I started thinking it might be worth writing a new edition entirely for my own use (and that of anyone I worked/played with). And I figured I could dodge legal issues that way.
But with a new DFRPG book and a new FATE engine on their way from Evil Hat, it seems wise to wait. It's possible that my plans will be completely altered by the new releases.
So I'll keep writing bits and pieces for now. Maybe one day I'll glue them all together into a proper whole.

Though I have to say that I fully support any "Massive Grouping of Santaphrax's Stuff" website. If you ever make one, I'd definitely browse it. Maybe Fred should hire you, :).

I could be wrong, but isn't FATE covered by open license?
That would allow you to come up with "Generic Urban Fantasy Fate". Now only would you get to express your ideas, but you'd have a game called GUFF.
GUFF Roleplaying. GUFF the Game. That catches the ear, doesn't it?

Fate is, but the powers list specifically is not. I'm not even sure if the entire way powers work in DFRPG is OGL. I think the OGL for FATE is only stunts.
There is no OGL for third edition FATE yet. It hasn't been released.

GUFF is a nice name. And I do like the idea, though I don't think DFRPG needs to be limited to urban fantasy.
But unfortunately, the game I want to write is way too similar to DFRPG. Really, it is DFRPG. With all my houserules canonized.
I dunno, maybe I could get away with it legally. But it'd be spitting in the eye of Evil Hat, and I'm not going to do that.
They specifically said not to. (http://www.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/tctnj/we_are_evil_hat_productions_ask_us_anything_ama/?sort=new)
They said they'd be totally fine with a bunch of "here's how I'd do it" essays, but that's no different from what I'm doing now.
So if I do compile all my houserules into a game, it'll be for personal use only.

Which is why I said you'd need to come up with your own setting and dice rules.
Then adapt a solid sampling of your custom abilities to that.
-
And then we could all write houserules for his RPG! ;D :P
-
I'm fine with the rules as they are.

I largely am too. Some errata and clarifications would be nice, but ultimately I'm pretty good with how the system works.

Oh, I misunderstood.
Yeah, no real interest in doing that any time soon. I like this game, I just want to clean up a few of its issues and fill in a few of its blank spaces.

Both of which you are doing with great skill, sir!
