Title: Social Publishing
Post by: Quantus on January 23, 2012, 09:01:52 PM
Leebre.org (News Article) (http://techzwn.com/2012/01/leebre-bringing-social-publishing-to-indie-novelists/)is a "fiction commons" billed as "not just a platform to release books for free. It’s meant to give authors a platform to sell print books and easily publish their books using free layout and cover illustration tools included on the website."  It goes on about the benefits of publicity, longevity, and even donations from free books (under Creative Commons License)  over the traditional copyright distribution methods.

As readers and Authors, what are your thoughts?

Not sure what to think about this.  Assuming it isn't a scam, it sounds like another self-publishing option such as Lulu and CreateSpace.
