Looking for some poetic Aspects that describe an instinct for picking out clues, pieces of the puzzle, noticing things that others don't notice. Any ideas or cool catchphrases?
-
I'm fond of the Sherlock Holmes quote: "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth." A bit long for an aspect, though.
Other ideas:
Seeker of Signs and Secrets
The Devil is in the Details
Truth Hound
No Crime Without Clue, No Question Without Answer
Nothing Escapes My Notice
Unravel the Riddle

Every Puzzle Has An Answer!
Because I shamelessly ripoff video games, movies, and songs for my aspects.
-
"Not Quite Sherlock Holmes... Yet."
"Eyes Of The Eagle"
"Now It All Makes Sense!"
"As You Know, Watson..."

The Sherlock Scan (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SherlockScan). Accept no substitutes!

EDIT: Seriously though, TVtropes is a great place for Aspect names and uses.

Durn you! In under five minutes I had 10+ tabs open on TVtropes!! Must read on!

I did warn you my friend!
But yes, if you're having trouble with Aspects, almost everything under "Character Tropes" can be used for something. Likewise you can use other tropes for your City Aspects, its a Gold mine!

Sigh. I read it well into the night. By the end I couldn't even remember why I was there, but I had a deep warm satisfying feeling and my hunger pangs had subsided. Too many tropes, too little time to read them all...
