We are doing a Game Set During WW2. Kinda Spy/Dirty Dozen theme.
Basically looking to make a Dum Dum Dugan type character, thats good at fighting, shooting, and spy work if need be.
Level is Neck Deep.
ideas?

What I have so far
Character is named (Lance-Sergent?) Joesph Moman, left the Irish Army and Joined the Brits to fight the Nazi's. 6 Feet 4inches tall, 250 Pounds, Red Hair, big ole' Mustache

LUCK OF THE IRISH would be a fine Aspect I would think. It is thematically appropriate and can be both good and bad.

Perfect! Stealing it!

Neck Deep?
Anyway, you probably mostly want physical combat skills here.
Stealth and Burglary for the spy stuff.
Not too many stunts, lots of FP.
Do you want Contacts and Resources? How about social skills?
-
This guy needs Might, Fists, Guns, Athletics, Burglary, Deceit (all spies need this), Stealth, and Alterness as his major skills. Hmm, if you do a 2x5 spread on skills (2 skills of each level), then I think that might work out well.
Hmm, would "Stubborn as a Mule" be a good aspect?
Oh, and tell your GM there needs to be an enemy with "Might is Reich" as an Aspect.
-
There also needs to be a Baron von Strucker-type; an cunning, intelligent adversary who is also admirable in some ways.
-
How about LARGER THAN LIFE? It can be used in social and physical ways and would fit the over the top kind of character Dum Dum Dougan is.

I like that one, how about CIRCUS STRONGMAN? It might be a fun aspect depending on how close you want to get to the original character's background.
As for more on how to build the character, provided you are going for a pure mortal than stunts are the way to go, the right combination of Might, Fists, and Guns stunts will make for a very capable soldier in the Dum Dum Dougan mold.

Here's what I got now
Joesph Moman
+5 Guns, Might
+4 Fists, Weapons
+3 Stealth Burglary
+2 Deception Alertness
+1 Athletics Presence
High Concept
Sergeant in the Queen's Army
Trouble
It was this or Prison
Aspects
Luck of the Irish
Street Smarts
Clear the Way (it was the motton of the Irish Regiment)
Aspect Guest Star 1
Aspect Guest Star 2
-
No Endurance?
What stunts were you planning to use?
-
No Endurance?
Yeah, I'd drop Might, maybe. It's handy to be strong, but with his fists that high, he'll still inflict some damage on a punch, that is unless you want him to be the big bruiser with the Glass Jaw.

Hmm, I'd swap out presence for intimidation (Dum Dum always seemed to me to be more about "Do it or else" to me.)
And I'd flip-flop fists and might. Maybe drop weapons for endurance since Dugan was "known for his marksmanship with rifles and for his impressive physique."
