Title: Tower of Faith Question

Caster with soulfire and tower of faith (Agent of Gabriel) says a quick prayer and casts a quick blast of (conviction 5, weapon 5)  soulfire to bake a Black Court. Since Tower of faith grants him Armor 1 mental does he still take the stress from casting?

I would say yes. Magical stress is self-inflicted (seems to me that should get around armor), and being able to cast spells without stress is far too powerful.
