so i was playing during my groups last session and i realize i could use some armor, so i ask the gm and he said that he doesn't even know if i can get armor that will shapeshift with my were-creature, what can i do?
-
get something made from enchanted quicksilver that will change with you and solidify once you're done changing
-
i'll run it by my gm

Either pay the cost, and get some sort of enchanted item, or take toughness, or both.
If you don't want to spend the refresh then the following would apply.
For standard armor, if I were GM and you didn't want to take one of the above, then you might be forced to get a kevlar vest for human form, and maybe a service dog bib made, and have a teammate put it on you, if you should shapeshift to a werewolf or something.

I'm going to have to say that there's very little cool factor in a werewolf who wears... a bib. But if you got one, it'd have to say 'Woof's Your Daddy?' on it.

Why not. Billy and Georgia need a laugh. Who knows what Terra West would do.....

My guess? Stare at you inscrutably.

To be honest, I think that any "armor" capable of shapeshifting with a werewolf would half to be either an IoP (using body armor as the baseline object, but giving it a custom power that allowed it to shapeshift) or an enchanted item built along the lines of Dresden's duster, but make it a magic dog collar or some such. You'd have to work out how to charge the werewolf (assuming they had no magic generating item slots). One possibility is to allow them to buy Refinement for slots, but use another player's enchanting ability to create the item.
