So, you've seen those "in case of emergency, break glass" cubbies with water hoses in them, right?
And running water grounds out magic? So, rampaging sorcerer, or murderous spirit from the nevernever on the prowl..... well, thats an emergency, right?

Running water can/does ground of magic if used in enough quantities. Or at least, mortal magic. It will not necessarily do so to magic used by non-mortal casters, like a

Find the old-style water hoses, the ones used by firemen. (Still present in some major buildings, like hotels.)
The water pressure from those hoses will knock normal mortals down, possibly stunning them. Even supernatural beasties will be slowed down for a bit.
Find a right-angle turn in a corridor. Toss the hoses (which have heavy brass nozzles) around the corner. When nasties approach, turn on the hoses full blast. The nozzles will act like medieval maces to everyone in the corridor. Tie supernatural Catch items to the nozzles before doing this for added fun.

If the formorian is a demon or ghost (or other nevernever entity that makes an ecoplasm shell to manifest on the human plane) the water will ground out the shell. See Kravos in Grave Peril.

Fomorian's play be different rules ;D. Running water doesn't bother them or affect their magic.

Discussion of the Fomor belongs in the Spoiler Quarantine zone for now.
