Title: Hexenshark
Post by: Baron Hazard on July 24, 2010, 12:34:51 AM
So for one of my games I am statting a group of Hexenshark. I am just wondering if you guys would consider providing a larger refresh discount due to the fact that mostly they are nearly normal humans on land and any use of their beast change on land would quickly render them suffocating and immobile.

Perhaps even a [+1] to Aquatic for being "not amphibious" and maybe an additional [+1] for the Hexenshark Belt (making it a +2 discount instead of +1 for size) what do you think?

I would think just the [+1] aquatic would be enough to balance it out.

I'd actually say that this is a fairly straightforward example of when Human Form is a +2 instead of a +1; no need to invent new modifiers for other powers, imo.

[edit] The core idea is pretty neat, though.  [/edit]

Actually, that sounds about right to me, cost wise. Though I, too, would put the additional +1 on Human Form, not Item of Power.

wow, and I just posted a write up of the Sisterhood of the Waves too

heh, with Hexenwolves and the Sisterhood, all we need is an "Eater of All" a la Hawaiian/South Pacific myths to go with some sharkish lycanthropes and we have our own Jaws version of Fool Moon

just had a sudden thought:

"Wait, there's an all female group of athletically fit wereshark beach babes, at least one of whom overreact to human pheromones?.....Georgia's right behind me, isn't she?"

"Yes, Billy, yes she is."
