Just finished the draft of my Novel. Going to take about a month off from it for research. Then final edit before I solicit publishers.

Wow, only one draft and one edit. Miracle worker!
CONGRATS, finishing the first draft is an incredible accomplishment. How many words? How long have you been working on it?
*Imagine balloons, cake, ice cream, glitter cannon salute, etc!*

shhh Meg, let him bask in the innocence for now. we all believed in Santa Claus at one point, too.
seriously though, good luck bro. But one draft for a novel is extremely rare. You're bound to find a lot of errors or plot holes. I'd give it a good deal of spit polish before sending it down the pipe to potential publishers.

You mean there isn't a Santa Claus???? *runs crying to my room*

It is definately not the first draft. I have been working on this for about 6-7 years. As far as total pass throughs one is probably the third. It still has some holes but I think Ive got the basic craft down as least as much as I can for now. I am certainly closer than I have ever been.

Oh I meant to add that I appreciate your comments. Thanks.
