Jim will be the Literary Guest of Honor at DucKon (http://www.duckon.org/) in Naperville, Illinois, June 12-14. Quack!
-
I'll be there. I assume Jim will be signing, etc?

I would like to go... I will be checking my budget and determining the adverse effects on my ability to pay rent and other things if I go... hotel rooms are exspensive :(

When given the choice between shelter and a Jim Butcher signing, the correct answer is always "Jim Butcher signing".

True... if I were the only one that would affect... My kids might be a little put out the next time they came to visit daddy and had to share a cardboard box though... and I know the ex-wife would be a sore-head bout the whole thing ;D

Interestingly, the website page doesn't describe exactly what Duckon *IS*... a gaming con? a sci fi con? an animal appreciation con?

It is about Ducks.

I've just signed back on after a long absence, but spend every night listening to Jim's audio books, and just finished Turn Coat. Was very disappointed to see I missed a signing in Chicago, since I live right in Downers Grove -but WOW! Naperville!! Twenty minutes away - I'm so glad I will get a chance to see Jim in person - love his writing. I'm still smiling at Harry riding down Michigan Avenue aboard Sue!
Welcome to the Chicago Burbs, Jim. Hope to see you,
TonieH.
