Was the same actor's body that was in all of them?  The one in the original set bought a book from me in NC. And no, I didn't ask for an autograph....

Yes, he walked around in the Vader Suit and was the guy you saw at the end, when Luke removes his mask.  Also at the end in his Jedi robes as a spirit (the original editing....not the crappy one replaced with Christenson.)

Wait no, Shaw was the face and the guy in the Jedi robes....gah, just how many frickin' people does it take to play Vader?!

He just walked around as Vader but wasn't ever seen.  He's 6.7 and a body builder....so frickin' gianormous guy.

Y'know, I would feel bad for Prowse and the way he found out that his voice was dubbed out in favor of Jones, but... it's James freaking Earl Jones. I personally wish he would dub his voice over everything *I* say.

I remember a TV interview with James Earl Jones where he was asked about doing voice over work instead of "true" acting.  His respone was to look down at his watch and solemly announce, "This is CNN."

It gave me a good chuckle.

I believe that's everyone, unless you want to count voiceover work for the video games, or a guy being in the suit for motion capture type stuff.  And very possibly the newer scenes for the 2007 dvd release of the OT.  I don't remember the name of the guy who was in the suit for those couple minutes.

Gawd, I hope so. It would be a nice reversal of the usual, where spoiled-brat thug athletes get eleventy billions dollars while solid, talented actors who do a good job instead of just looking good get relative peanuts.

In the original trilogy, Prowse was Vader throughout A New Hope, Bob Anderson filled in for him in Empire for the fight scenes, and also in Jedi, and Shaw was the face and ghost at the end of the original cut of Jedi.  The new cut of the scene is still Shaw's body with Christensen's head.

I will definately be there....and since it's in Oakbrook, I'm like 45 minutes from it, unless I stay at my model-friends house, then I'm like 5-10 minutes from there...so definately...

Oh, bonus: I'm going to make one of my supervisors extremely jealous. Woot!
Now starting the primary elections for Toot, King of Spring and Erlking, King of Autumn, with a special election for Winter Kingdom.

(I just made a crack-pot theory...What?...It could happen.)

There was a HUGE crowd turnout in Oakbrook for 'Small Favor'.  I heard something like 300 people.  The people there said it was 3x what they thought it'd be.

I only brought two other books to sign that time, but this time I'll probably bring a few more.

I wonder what the crowd'll be like...

I there a chance anymore sites will be added?  I'm quite disappointed he's not doing Mysterious Galaxy in San Diego.
Damn it, Harry!  That's not a plan, it's a Looney Tune!

Nope, sorry.  It's possible that Jim will be coming to San Diego this year for Comic Con, though that decision hasn't been made yet.

Stupid economy....if things weren't so bad, I'd be able to actually travel somewhere this year.
