So, now that Priscellie has moved my question to this area (and the topic should be named "Seattle", and not "Tacoma", as Tacoma is 30+ miles south of the actual signing)--who is going to show up at the Seattle presentation?

They got it right last time, and hey, close is good enough!   ;D  At least they didn't put Spokane or something.   ;)

Obviously I'm not going, but there are a lot of people in that area that went last time.

There or not, just the rumor of him being there is enough for me to fly out from Ohio...

ok, I was gonna be in the area for something else anyway.  But the other version sounds better. :P

I may just have to pack Bob for him to sign. ;D

Did you get him to sign Bob?  (BTW, I saw you there -I was sitting in the row in front of you.)

I was so excited to get the book and a picture with Jim that I forgot to ask the lady who does the paintings if I could get a picture of her painting of Thomas.  Does anyone know who she is?

Erm... Met her last time Jim was in Seattle.  I want to say Ellen...somethingorother.  Crap, I even talked to her last time!  She gives Jim a painting every time she goes to a signing.  Last year it was TV!Harry and Bob's skull, which she let me take a picture of, but it is too blurry to see her signature.

I wrote it down somewhere but with the move it could be anywhere!  Sorry.

Yeah, Bob got signed.  Jim got a kick out of it too, so I doubt he's signed too many of them.

And what did you think of my shirt?  I got a LOT of comments on it.

I saw her painting last time too -I sat near her.  Wasn't it great?! But I didn't have a camera at that time...  Sheesh!  Last time = brain + no camera.  This time = camera + no brain.  Maybe next time I'll get it right!   :-[

Jeez, maybe I even sat near you too!   ;)  I remember talking to a nice couple who told me about Kim Harrison's Dead Witch Walking series.  If you guys are out there, thanks!  I'm enjoying the series!   :)

(re: Bob signed)  Cool!  Did you have to bring a sharpie or did a normal pen work?  I was wondering about that later.

I was thinking that the shirt was very appropriate considering who you had with you.   ;)  I guess I was a little shy about mentioning that to you at the time.

A little off-topic but I was at an Irish-style pub on St. Patrick's Day and the minute you got inside, the smell of booze hit you in the face like a wet towel.  That night, though I didn't drink any alcohol, I said a lot of things that I usually just think.  (I was the DD, and I can't drink alcohol anyway.)  I think my friends were a little shocked at some of the things I said and were thinking that I'm Bob's long-lost sister or something.   :-[

Yeah, she was really pretty.  I wasn't sure if she was with you and just in case, I didn't want her to think I was hitting on you or anything.  But I did have a good snicker about your shirt.   ;D
