So, during the fight in Hades' hall and when Nicodemus' crew is leaving that domain, 2 Denarians get killed and their coins aren't collected.

Does Hades have those coins in his possession now?

Unlikely.  The Denarius coins by their very nature are meant to be in circulation.  There would be no appeal in them to a god who collects things to keep as his primary hobby, so they'll end up finding their own way back to Earth sooner or later. Plus there's a potential living host down there who may help at least one of the coins find a way out.

But -- as per @ZhonLord -- the coins are meant to be in circulation, not in a vault.  I suspect that not even Hades' security is sufficient to overcome this.

And -- as per @Arjan -- there was plenty of time for Nic/Anduriel to recover Lasciel from the rocks, and then Ursiel from the ice.


Last but not least... I expect Jim has some stuff he's planning to write in a Harry/Bonny/Lasciel arc ...   The whole "child shared with a hostile Ex" thing seems like too much of a chance to torment Harry; and tormenting Harry is most of how Jim stays fed & housed these days.

There was mention of the holder of one of the coins not the coin itself. Considering what happened to the coin holder this smacks a bit like a corpsetaker mode of "survival". So I'd give it even odds they still have the coin.
