A “how too” short story
« on: June 28, 2020, 03:22:07 PM »
Would anyone else enjoy a short story with Harry making or remaking one of his focus items?

I’d love to see how he actually makes one.

Not really, but maybe in one of the books showing Maggie how it is done.

I had to laugh, when I read your post, because I was thinking of Proven Guilty, when he did a hours of preparations for a spell including cleaning himself and the circle and meditating...
And then he forgot to unplug the telephone. LOL
Something like that.

I don't know if I'd enjoy the story, but I would like to know more about what exactly goes into enchanting an item.

Yes, I would love to read something like that
Missing you, Md

There are many horrible sights in the multiverse. Somehow, though, to a soul attuned to the subtle rhythms of a library, there are few worse sights than a hole where a book ought to be. Someone has stolen a book (Terry Pratchett)

I don't know if there is enough there for a story, and what anthology would want it? Jim does most of the shorts for anthologies.

Now, a microfiction.... that sounds good
