I watched Family guy till season 9, and I like it. I especially like the music numbers that they make. Some episodes dragged on, but generally I liked it :D
Heatwave the last 3 days. 38°c here :/

Sorry about the heatwave, Fcrate!
We are still having warm days.

About Family Guy, it's ok. Everyone has different likings, which makes life interesting.

Tomorrow my vacation is over.  :( I don't look forward to going to work. But at least it won't be the weekend or the nightshift.
I'm thinking of helping out at the small covid testing centre in the main village. They need people who do the actual testing. Not taking the samples. There are enough people who do the writing stuff. But not enough who want to do the testing.
I think I'm going to ask the apothecary. His wife is a friend, she told me.

It is still cold here. 3-5°C. Next week should be warmer. Around 12-13. Yay.

Edit: I know Family Guy. But I don't watch it on purpose. I have never seen one full episode.

That's very good of you Regen. I'm sure they'll appreciate your help.
I just spent 90 minutes cleaning my little pool, me and a friend of mine here built it last year, and it helped us survive the summer. Unfortunately it's basically a plastic sheet over a square of sandbags, which meant that i had to keep it full all through the winter or the sun would have destroyed the plastic. Anyway, I'm filling it up now. In 20 minutes I'll have the best siesta ever :D

I hope you enjoy your siesta!

Regen, that sounds awesome  :). I hope your first day was light. I also hope cold retreats soon.

I began watching "The Nevers" (It's an HBO show, initially by Joss Whedon but apparently he left the production now). I thought it was quite good, even when people had told me it was bad. It's not the best show ever, mind you. Nothing mind-blowing. But the pilot was interesting enough for me.

Just wait, maybe the heatwave has some "echo", meaning another hot day soon.

Hi, GW.
Did you move to another state?
And happy belated birthday!

@Fcrate: the pool sounds awesome. I hope you can enjoy it again soon.

@Dina: I haven't heard about the Nevers, yet.

We've been looking for some new series to watch, watched a few movies in between. One sounded funny at first but was very very boring. We managed the first 20 minutes or so. It was supposed to be about a zombie apocalypse. It has been praised at lot and I believe even won some award. But nothing happened. The few zombies you could see, were no danger. It was like a boring road movie with the occasional rotten human. But nothing interesting happened.

Now we have begun to watch Swamp Thing. We have only watched the pilot so far, but it looks like a good series.
