I actually know, more or less, where Wisconsin is. Many years ago, one of my high school classmates spent almost a year there for a cultural exchange thing. To give you an idea what we were talking about, we sent each other LETTERS. Real letter, in the "airmail paper", which was light and almost transparent. And we wrote with smaller letters so we could tell us more things with less paper. Heavier letters were quite expensive!
And she also sent me pictures! Some of them from a lovely landscape that seemed like Narnia itself and had me dreaming with snow postcards and snow falls.
I loved the letters we exchanged, even sometimes there was a month between each other. And I hope your part of Wisconsin is as beautiful as those pictures she sent me.
