@Dina
This is great news about your team! Go them! I am only looking who won and when I saw it was Argentina, I knew you would be happy.
And LOL. I know now why my husband does so overly simple English exercises on Duolingo! He is done with all the lessons and wants to achieve the final goals, for which you need "gems", so you can compete. One only gets gems by doing lessons.
I told him, it doesn't matter which language you do to earn them, so he now does Klingon!
And he does it so I can hear it too. It kind of creates a Star Trek feeling without the TV on.
I was at the local Christmas market last week. It was nice, but cold, so we bought warm drinks, the kids had a Bratwurstsemmel each (a little bread with warm sausage, you can get it with mustard or ketchup, whatever you prefer) and I went to our firefighters, because they always sell Steaksemmel (yes, it's steak in a little bread with onions) and because I know most of them, so there was some talking while I waited for my steak.
I plan to go to at least one other market before they close before Christmas. There are so many of them and each is nice. But one can't go to all of them, there's not enough days in the week.
It is just that normally I would choose one or two and it would be enough, but this is the first year since covid hit, that they are open again, and it feels and smells very 'christmassy'. I at least want to show the big one in the city to my children. It is not only the market itself, it is also the old buildings around it. It all looks very beautiful.
