Ok, that was very extensive and informative for me. Thank you!

Let's see. I was amused to see a Spanish course in Picard, the other day. So I will begin with that.

Another thing I want to say is:

I hope I was clear. I will add more examples later.

As it happens, many words have different meanings when we talk about men or women. For instance, "zorro" means "fox" and it is metaphorically used as a praise for a cunning, clever man. Instead, the feminine version, "zorra" is used as an analogue of what you call "foxy" or "vixen" Something of a

So, for example, if you say "

Also, if you say

Hello, there. I didn't have much time lately. I'll come back to that later with typical German swearing. For now I realized, there are some similarities to the English swear words. I mean, that they are exactly the same. Some are considered vulgar.
Those I can think of are:

Similarity to Spanish:

Some German words:

More later when my brain is more awake.
I have to sleep now. :)

OK. One Bavarian one I do have now, because I like it so much, though I don't really use it. It was a Bavarian comedian who said that in one of his shows. I'm going to translate it. It's kind of funny. It's what the father of a tennis playing boy tells the mother of his son's opponent. The name calling is getting more and more intense.

Sorry for the vulgarity. ;-)

Hah, this topic is quite fun..
@Otlan: Thanks for starting it. I have no comment on the American ones, except that I love

@Dina:

is new, even after years of hearing spanish people swear on teamspeak. Thank you for the masculine and feminine explanation though.. This I had no clue about, I also didn't know that

@Regen:

Arabic swear words (Egyptian dialect mostly, but understood by everyone) are a little tricky because of the pronunciation. We use numbers to compensate for sounds that doesn't exist in the greek alphabet.  So for starters, let me explain those a bit: (Warning: tl;dr)
2 = A in the beginning of a word, example: "fo2ak" should be pronounced as "fo'ak"
3 = A sound from the bottom of the throat, like the beginning of a growl.
5 = kh, a sound like the german "ch" in "achtung".
6 = T, but more flat, and comes from the whole of the tongue touching the top of the mouth.
7 = a heavy, throaty H.
8 or 3' = a sound like the French "r"
9 = a much heavier "S"

Got to go now, I'll post more later.

هل تحممت بعطره وتنشفت بنور

I am pretty good saying that, actually. It is written a little different in English than in the Spanish version I saw as a child, but I love that word. And the movie.

LOL
Thats funny. Where is it from?

Thinking of long words to knot tongues, I always loved one as a child. It's no swear word, but the title of a children's book by Michael Ende (the guy who also wrote Neverending Story):
Der satanarchäolügenialkohöllische Wunschpunsch.  ;D
A story about a wizard and a witch competing doing the most evil things on Dec.31 with a deadline until midnight. And if I remember correctly their cat and raven trying to stop them. I have to read that to my little one again.

LOL there is an english translation!!!
