Somehow the Leviathan just made me think: What's Great A'Tuin doing on Carna ??

Ok, above all things, let me say:

General style... great
We get to see Canim and Marat... great
Its totally Alera centered... great

The Leviathan is just way too cute... great :-)

Calderon Valley is quite different from how I pictured it, but that does in no way diminish the greatness of the Map.

Thank you!  Yeah, the Calderon Valley surprised me, too.  The way Jim instructed me to make it didn't quite jive with the description in FoC.  Ah well!  Lois McMaster Bujold claims to reserve the right to change her mind when she gets a better idea, so Jim can be afforded similar allowances.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure that the name "A'Tuin" comes from "A to-ing," as he goes a to-ing and a fro-ing around the universe.  Why won't you back me up, Annotated Pratchett File?  *shakes fist*

Eventually, I'm sure.  In its current incarnation, it isn't high-res enough for a poster, so I'd have to redo quite a bit, but it would be worth it!  Especially because I want it on my wall, too!

I've since spotted that the Redhill Heights are on the wrong side of Alera Imperia, and I neglected to label the Rillwater, but I'm still feeling fine!  I'll let you discover the Easter Eggs for yourselves.

I'm not so sure Redhill is incorrect.
