[DFA] stating black court and Fomor

how would you stat the black court and the fomor, using DFA system. im having a hard time coming up with a balanced mantle, specifically around the unique conditions. the stunts are not that hard to come up with.

Honestly, while in DFRPG I'd certainly grant Fomor slightly different powers than a Wizard, for DFA, the Magical Practitioner Mantle seems almost entirely appropriate and sufficient. You'd need to ditch the 'Member Of the White Council' stuff for other Stunts, but that's really the only change needed. There are some indications they can have superhuman physical abilities, so maybe add those in instead of the White Council stuff (the ones under Fae seem reasonable, for example). You might also switch Soulgaze for Loremaster, given the specific proclivities of the Fomor.

For The Black Court, you've got some more difficulties, but probably want to start with the Red Court, replace the Flesh Mask and Saliva stuff with something to reflect their mind control powers and turning into mist, and go from there.

You also might want to add some custom stunts to represent the Fomor's weird equipment, and something for water-breathing/swimming.

I used the following writeup in our DFA game. They were meant to be a big mob of low level minions and not one of the more powerful leaders.

Fomor Minions

Description:
Aspects
Mob of Fishmen
Our Lives For The Master
May Once Have Been Human
Skills:
Skilled at Killing, Swimming and Intimidation +2
Bad at Acting Human, Acting Independently -2
Stress:
[ 1 ] [ 1 ] [ 1 ] [ 1 ] [ 1 ] [ 1 ]

Conditions:
Fishmen Minions: [ 2 ] [ 2 ] [ 2 ] [ 2 ] [ 2 ] [ 2 ]
As long as this condition has unmarked boxes, this “creature” represents a group of Fishmen Minions acting in concert. As a group, the Minions have scale when dealing with lone targets. The Minions may mark a box to absorb up to 2 shifts in damage,representing individuals being taken out or driven away. This condition is recovered between sessions as Minions return to their leader or they bolster the numbers of those lost.

Bio:
Squamish and terrible Fomor minions. Can pass for human but only just.
