Show of hands:  who would like to see Jim write a graphic novel or comic series? Like a Ragged Angel series?

I would like to read about the "pre-quel" stories, sure.

I'm not sure about a comic book format though.  Just not my thing anymore.

It just occurred to me, Jim's written a Spider-man novel, Kevin Smith has written Green Arrow comic books, a graphic novel would be an interesting direction to go.

A Dresden Files GN would probably work quite well.

And not that he needs it or anything, but it would really give Jim a chance to work on dialogue, which would really play in well with the series.

the thing about graphic novel formats is that they are just that, graphic.  the artist makes or breaks a comic, though i am loathe to admit it.  If it was done well art-wise (im visualizing something like the Batman Hush style)  and Butcher put forth his writing abilities, it would soar.  If it comes out looking like the New Mutants comics of the 80's and 90's.... it'd be rough.  course, I'm sure some people are ga-ga over that style and disagree with my assessment.  Someone had to have bought that comic, it lasted for a while.  It would need to be a different part of the  Dresden-verse imo.  Like the Ragged Angel stuff.  If he started sticking dresden comics between the novels chronilogically, it would give me for one a headache.
Nine-tenths of the universe, in fact, is the paperwork.
