Sooner or later, hopefully sooner, The Archive must become a mother.

I can see Ivy going the IVF route, mainly for the practicality of it.

g33k:
How 'bout Ivy shows up in Peace Talks, pregnant.

Harry's poor mind gets blown, because he still envisions her as a little girl.

Kincaid wants to hire Harry to figure out who the father is (Ivy refuses to say).  Could be one of those nice little side-plots that keep distracting Harry from the main action, until he figures out they aren't "side plots" at all...

Vodyanoy:
Depending on how grim things get, I could imagine The Archive "ending" before it can be passed on. Though, that's if Jim goes the China Mieville writing Perdido Street Station route of torturing every character you care about.

Regenbogen:
Does the Archive have to be passed on from mother to child, or is it possible that the Archive dies and the knowledge passes on to someone else suitable? Maybe someone magical, a seer or someone like that.
I honestly can't believe that all the Archives for centuries have always been able to give birth before dying.
Or that every child always survived.

Hmmmm, hard to say. If that were the case though, it'd be like a Mantle Passed from one person to the next, like the Winter Knight. Seems to me though it'd have to be someone who's mind can resist brakeing under all that knowledge. At least for a time.
