The Olympian Affair
« on: July 06, 2020, 04:46:09 PM »
So, I'm re-listening to the audiobook of Aeronaught's Windlass, and... I freaking love this book. I have heard the comment Jim made that he thought it was just bumping a bunch of action figures together, but, quite honestly, that is something I love about the book. Jim did a great job of bringing the characters to life quickly and making me care about them and want to hear what happens to them. And the book is just jam packed with action.

It helps that Euan Morton is a brilliant voice actor. He is spectactular.

I am really looking forward to The Olympian Affair. Do we know if Jim is actively working on it? I hope it comes out sometime in 2021!

Jim was supposed to get to it after the newest Dresden Files books... Peace talks comes out today, and Battle Ground in 3 months. We haven't heard any updates, and a first draft  then editing then setting up publication... if we do not hear SIGNIFICANT progress by year's end, it likely won't be 2021.

I'm looking forward to learning more about Spire Olympian. From the references throughout it sounds like a cool place.
