About my power outage, no, it was not due to the storm. In fact, all the weekend was grey and rainy but not properly stormy  . No, problem was in a building very close to mine. There was a small explosion and the power was down. They also cut the gas supply there (but not in my building), I am not sure what happened. But about...3 or 4 buildings around "ground zero" there was no power, since Saturday morning until some moment Sunday night. We decided to run Saturday night and it was good, because the water supply was cut some hours later, or so we've been told.

It was a wonderful weekend in a great hotel. My only complain was that I had several TV shows that I was planning to watch and they were on my computer (the desktop one, not the laptop) so I couldn't watch it. But the bed was laaaaaaaaarge and the shower was super good. And breakfast (which was included and we had on Sunday and Monday morning) was abundant and yummy! I like hotels.

That said, being on my own home feels cozier and I was happy to be back-

Ahhh, ok. Maby the buildings fuse box blew or something. I'm sorry you didn't get to watch your TV shows Di-Di, but at least you got to stay in a nice Hotel n_n . I've been on my own from Saturday till last night, my mom went back in the hospital. Nothing serious, so far, fingers crossed, and I almost wound up burning my house down -_- .

They say home is were you hang your enimes head at, so there's really no beating it n_n .

Oh! I also got a story idea I want to run by you n_n .

Long story short, I pluged a two prong plug in a three prong outlet upside down. Scorced, Burnt and melted the plug, luckily I was standing near by and able to yank it out of the wall before it did more damage. And yes, I am an idiot apparently XP .

@Ala and Dina: Thanks guys. She should be fine, she was just haveing Black Colored Stools, which indicates blood, on top of that, her Iron was droping, so the Doc's were worried she might be bleeding internally. They've looked her over but so far have found nothing. They think it might have been caused by the nose bleed she had before that, but they're keeping her for awhile to keep an eye on her just in case.

Looks like a weird week, electrically speaking, Otlan. a plug broke in an electricity socket and I didn't notice the metal part sticking out. I touched it and took a nice shock. On the positive side, the crick in my neck is fully healed because of it. Electroshock therapy at its finest

I poked the middle of a speaker once and my whole finger went numb. I eventually got the feeling back, but that hurt like a SOB -_- .

I think I'm a little more sensitive to electricity than most people, if that's possible. You poked a speaker, and you got numb, me, I get that from touching the (very) old PC's metal back. Or even a laptop's usb port.

Sounds to me like your highly conductive Crate O_O. Stay away from anything that gives off a lot of electricty. Like a power plant.
