Yeah, I didn't think Katherine was the right name.  But, I couldn't remember the name they went by so I didn't correct it.

I remembered, but validated it on IMDB.

Somebody needs to burn that doll, then burn the ashes, then take those ashes, put them in a lead-lined oak box inscribed with various religious symbolic wardings, bury that box on consecrated ground, then detonate a small nuclear device atop the burial site.

That f*&^ing thing is the stuff of nightmares, and needs to be destroyed before it kills us all.

Murphy’s smile was unpleasant. She was a tiny, compactly muscular woman with blond hair and a button nose. I’d say she was so cute, I just wanted to put her in my pocket, but if I tried to do it, she’d break my arm. Murph knows martial arts.

This encounter was in the short story Love Hurts.

That ain't a Murphy that could snap my arm. That's a Murphy that can haunt my dreams, and not in a good way.

Honestly, what kind of toy designer makes things that firmly within the Uncanny Valley?

Todd McFarlane.
haha, I was going ot say something about them still being stylized like the comic books, but apparently he's branched out into realistic sports action figures.
