In most cases, I would say it is possible that he might do a switcheroo; but, this is Marcone's greatest regret, probably the one thing he is trying to garner as much holy credit as possible. So, I say he returned it.

I know this is from a couple pages back, but in all seriousness, based on what Jim was going through with his own dog, I actually do strongly suspect Mister isn't going to make it out of Peace Talks . Jim tends to project his real life experiences on to Harry (which isn't meant to be a negative comment, if it comes off that way).

LOL ... I've used that link many times when people ask.

As to rumors ... it's been suggested that since we're getting Brief Cases in the Spring, Peace Talks may be available next Fall.  But nothing specific.

I don't mean to be mean... but this huge pause is kinda worrying. Wasn't there somewhere a thought that Jim maybe doesn't like writing Dresden Files that much?

It probably means he has a life

... as said, I'm not trying to be a dick, it's just that it's been about 3.5 years now.  All previous releases were 1-2 years apart.

On a different point, I recall reading on this forum that after Jim finished Peace Talks he would jump right into Mirror Mirror.  However, on rewatching the Q&A Jim did at the last Con he did this year, Jim said he would be getting back to the next book in Cinder Spires series.  Does anyone here know if the idea that Jim would continue with the next Dresden book was just wishful thinking on someone's part or did Jim originally say he would do this but has since changed his mind?

I think that I have heard both in some Q&A. Can't recall which ones. After awhile they blend together.
