I've always envisioned him as a ginger, less scarred up version of Mister.

Well, I'm getting the "this is an old topic" warning message but I just got here.  :P

I suspect the "cats" of the World of Spires (does this world even have a name? :-\ ) aren't the normal terrestrial variety. I'd hazard to guess they have larger brains from being around humans for millenia. I'd say the have an EQ between 5-7 (dolphins are slightly more than 5; humans slightly more than 7). This means our felines have larger heads than our contemporary cousins. Might explain their "inflated" self image.  ;D Need an artist to do one right. It ain't me.

Well, they apparently have a lifespan closer to humans than to real cats. I can imagine them having some particular traits

Missing you, Md

There are many horrible sights in the multiverse. Somehow, though, to a soul attuned to the subtle rhythms of a library, there are few worse sights than a hole where a book ought to be. Someone has stolen a book (Terry Pratchett)

Jim mentioned in a recent Q&A that Rowl clocks in at around 30 lbs, so that they larger all around as compared to the average domestic cat.

Not quite as good of thumbs as us (see Rowl's comments about the fighting spurs), but they can manage some things.

I picture them like this:

They do seem pretty similar to our cats, based on WoJ at DragonCon 2016.

Jim owns at least 1 I think more, Maine Coons and those cats are ginormous. I'm pretty sure I remember him saying Bowie was a MC. He also has a little rescue cat that seems "tiny but fierce." I just think millenia on the world has resulted in larger cats being more common.
