Inspiring Writing Quotes
« on: October 24, 2007, 11:17:43 PM »
I get a regular email newsletter at work and today's had an especially good quote (although perhaps all not that "inspiring")

"Editing is like cleaning your bathroom with a toothbrush."

I feel like that so many times.
Just because I haven't posted recently, doesn't mean I haven't been on the forum.

"Writing is easy.  You just stare at a blank piece of paper until your forehead bleeds." - Douglas Adams.

Terry Pratchett says writing is the most fun you can have with your clothes on, which to my mind says more about the weather where he lives than anything else; If I kept my clothes on to write there'd be at least four months of the year in which I'd be overheating.
Mildly OCD. Please do not troll.

"What do you mean, Lawful Silly isn't a valid alignment?"

kittensgame, Sandcastle Builder, Homestuck, Welcome to Night Vale, Civ III, lots of print genre SF, and old-school SATT gaming if I had the time.  Also Pandemic Legacy is the best game ever.

I'd be overheated for most of the year here. It's either summer or spring, pretty much.
