Modernity Fate
« on: May 23, 2015, 07:13:36 PM »
so i have been thinking of picking this up

http://www.rpgnow.com/product/139079/Modernity-Fate-Edition

from rpgnow. i was looking for something similiar to dresden but simpler. rules lighter i guess. something with players that can be creatures, faeries, mages, normal humans, preachers with god on their side, etc. in general i have a hard time grasping fate and have ran the free dresden adventures with alot of success but i find it to be very rules heavy. last year at gen con i picked up fate core and fate system toolkit but have been trying to figure out the whole adding magic to fate etc. since i have tried googeling fate forums to try to get some ideas and help with figuring out fate i havnt had much luck with finding any. so anyone read through it and can tell me if it is similiar to the dresden rpg? can anyone point me in the right direction to a active forum to talk about fate core? thanks in advance for any advice or help.

Most of the talk I know of is being done on the G+ Fate Core Group.

I know nothing about Modernity, but there are a lot of savvy Fate folks on RPGnet. If I had your question, I'd ask it there.
