Thanks a lot for all these great suggestions! Especially for all the aspect ideas, Shaft.
I am more or less settled on choosing Bear instead of Coyote. Also, I am sticking with the Emissary of Power Template, and chose "Last Emissary of the Bear" as my High Concept: With the recent disturbances of power, Bear decided one last time to grant his dwindling power to somebody from the tribe.
Also Beast Change is great, it allows me to skill both shapes separately, so I am most likely going to go with that.

In my Emerald City campaign we had a totem warrior who was dedicated to Yuquot.  An orca spirit that protected the Puget Sound region.  You can read about the spirit below:

Bruno, the character that was the host for the spirit was a campaign favorite.  He can be seen here:

I think you might could find some inspiration in those two links.

Thanks a lot!
I actually found and bookmarked your campaign portal during my investigation, but I haven't gotten to Bruno's character page yet. Thanks for pointing it out. There's definitely some good inspiration there. :)

Cool.  We have been playing DF set in Seattle for 5 years straight now.  There is plenty to look over. Hope you find some of it inspirational.
