"Alas, the problem in the movies is there's just no time! If you want the furious pace that most of Spidey's battles run at, even voiceovers would be too slow and would interfere with the action. I just wish at some point the writers would use Peter's trash-talking to annoy a villian and lure him/her away from civilians. After all, Spidey's lip is a tactic -- annoy the bad guys unmercifully until they make a mistake."
Oh, there's time.
But honestly, the trash-talking is all that's really needed. And it's needed badly.
I find it highly ironic that it's SAM FREAKIN' RAIMI who dropped that ball.
