Other forums have such a button on the front page; I don't see one here. It's often the easiest way to browse. Any way to add such a button? Or am I missing it hidden in a sidebar somewhere, possibly?

Or at least a way of indicating which threads have been posted in since your last visit, other than just the timestamp?

Well, that should be pretty clearly indicated by which forums show up with the gold diamond next to them, and which threads have the 'new' yellow link next to 'em.

You can click on the 'new' yellow-button-linky-thing by each thread to jump straight to the new post within the thread.

As far as smooshing them all togehter in one place?  I'm not entirely sure.  Though, there is a page for seeing the 10 most recent...

On the main page of the Jim-Butcher.com Community at the bottom of the page there's a Forum Stats section. There's a link there that will show you the last ten posts. Some days though, you will still have missed a lot of new posts in between.
