So, whenever I see the original "People Watching" thread, I keep thinking of "How do you feel when people watch you write" instead of "Do you like to watch people for inspiration?".

So...People Watching II: When the Watched Watch Back!

How do you feel when people watch you write, or look over your shoulder?

I go nuts! O.o  I can't stand people reading over my shoulder.  At least let me edit and clean up my writing so it's not quite so terrible when you read it, people...

I can't right when someone is home.   I write a bit.  Get up and move around to think and go back to writing.  The boyfreind thinks I am taking a break when in fact I am still lost in my own little world.  So I get interrupted.

I get sidtracked when people read over my shoulder. I talk and goof a fair amount, in stead of writing. But when I do write with other people around I get instant feedback and can bounce ideas off of somone, and that helps too. As long as the people around you know what you're trying to do, and respect it, it works. Other times it is just a waste of time and patience

Absolutely can NOT tolerate it.

I'm really best off when I do my writing in a sealed, roofed, soundproof box.

I've found I do my best writing when I'm supposed to be doing something else (ie: Taking notes in a class, or doing actual real job work).  So, I suppose I don't mind them watching over my shoulder so long as they aren't the person who's gonna get me in trouble for not doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
