Accessible Playground needs help, please

This is the playground which I and another founded, organized and with a great group of people, built in 1993, CAMDEN Accessible/Integrated Playground.  At the time it was built, it was considered the largest accessible, and most accessible playground in the world.  It began because of my nephew, Camden, who has special needs and couldn't play on regular equipment with his cousins and brothers, and became a multi-award winning playground from National awards to State and local.

It also opened doors for those with special needs, making playgrounds more accessible (the most accessible before that was only 40%) and helped eliminate prejudism against those with special needs in Rock County, WI.  It also changed the way playground equipment companies made and produced equipment for such playgrounds. (This all information from the equipment companies, and the world-reknown architects).

That was back in 1993..now, 21 years later, the playground is in need of a major rebuild, not only to comply with new standards, but because it's slowly deteriorating.  In order to do this, we must raise $30,000, and the city will donate $70,000. by 2015.

One of our largest and longest lasting supporters is the South Central Wisconsin Harley Owners Group or SCWHOG, and the Ladies of Harley.  Every year they've done a ride and a silent auction to raise money for this special playground, it is also their longest running fundraiser.

What we are looking for, and yes we are non-profit so if anyone wishes to help us out you can use it on your taxes and we will give a receipt, are donations for the Silent Auction.

We take smaller items and place them in baskets for things like a "night out" or "family night" or things like that, so anything will help.

Please consider it, especially those of you with homespun talent, we would be honored to have any donations to raise moneyf for this playground which is a model for accessible/integrated playgrounds with over 200 built worldwide from India, Germany, Holland, Canada (several) and all across the USA, as well as many other countries.  It has been visited by over 1.3 million people since 1993.

You can email me at camdenplay@hotmail.com or just let me know here, we'll even pay postage if you need to mail anything, I'll pay for that personally if you donate.

Thank you so much for considering and reading this, it means a lot to all of us. :)
