Tapatalk?

I just discovered Tapatalk on another forum I'm reading. It makes reading the site a LOT easier on mobile devices, and I'd love to have it for this forum as well.

The extent of my knoledge of the nuts and bolts of the forum is that it is simple machines code, more specifically SMF 2.0

tapatalk appears to have a plugin developed for SMF here

OTOH, Iago is really buisy, and might not be able to get something like this running.  I'm ignant of what it would take.

I installed it on my own SMF forum awhile back, and it was easy.

There may be other implications beyond my knowing that make it impractical - like slowing down the server we're on, etc.

I haven't used it for awhile - did they go to an ad-based app?  That might pose problems, as well, if there's no control over the ad content.

By the way, tapatalk has come up here in the suggestions section at least 2 other times, and in one back in 2010, the #2 admin said:

Nope, sorry.  We make a point to install as few mods as possible.
