Every time I sign a contract I feel relieved. Each of my books has had to go through the same process of querying, waiting to be asked for the full manuscript, then waiting to see if I'm offered the contract. Signing it means I know the book will be out, so that's a huge weight off. Edits are a lot of work, but I'm lucky enough to have a fantastic editor and I'm really looking forward to what she has to say about the new book.
