Here's a new type of Shen (Chinese fairy court, similar to the Seelie/Unseelie/Wyld Fae/Fomor/Twlwyth Teg) I've been working on for my game.
Name: Léi Shēng
High Concept: Thunder Shen
Trouble: On The Losing End of the Fairy War
Aspects: My Eyes Are My Ears; Speak Loudly and Carry and Big Stick
Skills:
Superb: Alertness
Great: Stealth, Weapons
Good: Athletics, Discipline, Fists
Fair: Conviction, Endurance, Intimidation, Might
Average: Contacts, Deceit, Investigation, Lore, Presence
Powers:
Supernatural Sense (Echolocation, using Alertness)-1
Breath Weapon (high pitched screams)-2
Cloak of Shadows -1
Teleportation -2 (from Custom Powers List)
+1 Limited (Shadows)
Inhuman Speed -2
Superhuman Toughness -4
Inhuman Recovery -2
The Catch: +3 Cold Iron
Refresh: -10
Physical: OOO(OOOO) Armor:2
Mental: OOO
Social: OOO
Appearance:
The Léi Shēng appear mostly human, with a few minor exceptions. Their ears are abnormally large, they have no discernable mouths, and their eyes have no iris or pupils. Instead they have two cone shaped holes where they emit ultrasonic waves that they use to see. To most observers, it appears that Léi Shēng have very light colored eyes. Upon closer inspection, their eyes do not see.
Notes:
The Léi Shēng are a type of Shen, chinese fairy/demons (both are accurate depending on who you ask). They serve as spies and bodyguards for the Shen nobility, completely unaffected by the normal sight based tricks of glamours that the other Fae courts used during the Great War. While they can speak with mortals in lower registers through their two "eye" mouths, they have their own ultrasonic language which is extremely difficult for human mortals to even hear.
