Any DF RPG groups near Seattle WA looking for new players?
« on: March 17, 2013, 11:54:20 PM »
I recently accuired the RPG books, and I would like to join a group. As I'm in college, the only time I could be regularly avalible is on the weekends. I've never played an RPG before, and I currently dont have a liscense (I turned 17 on the 10th), though I do have a permit. I live roughly 30-45 minutes SE of Seattle, in Covington. Are there any groups nearby that are willing to let me join?

What do you get when you combine the knowledge hoarding nature of a wizard, neurodiversity, an overly creative mind, and a growing passion for writing? Me! Go here to find out about a series I plan on writing.

Thanks, though I was hoping to physically meet the group rather than join them through the internet. It would allow me a greater understanding of the game if I could talk to a vetran player in person.

Pretty sure the LFG board is the place to be if you're looking for a physical meet-up.

I'd look for Meetup groups and game stores in Seattle.  Either will get you to people in Seattle.  :)

Google "games and hobby stores, Seattle" and you'll get a list.  Doing a quick search, The first thing I found was:

Gary's Games and Hobbies, but there's a bunch.

I'm not from there, though.

The Dreaming might be a good store to check out.  It has a thriving game community.
