Five more chapters gone through, several with larger changes than I realised, and have half a dozen of the more seriously reworked in this pass ones I want to read again for flow, and a handful of little things to insert here and there in the "needs a bit more set-up in chapter 14 if I want this particular secondary character to make this decision in the denouement" sort of direction that I hope will be straightforward enough. Also, I haven't done the through pass on the short different-POV epilogue, because that is a lot of fun and I may as well keep it until the very end of this pass, to serve as a motivator. With luck I will get this draft done in one more night, if not, then two will definitely do it.
